The kitchen can be a dangerous place. Always have a grown-up help you with the stove, oven and toaster, as well as can-openers and knives.

Parents

Sliced English muffins, packages of pre-grated Cheddar and Mozzarella Cheese, no-boil lasagna noodles and cartons of pourable chicken broth will make cooking easy and safe for your children, PLUS it will introduce them to healthy eating habits.

Pinky-Swear Pizzas

  • Pre-sliced English Muffins
  • Pre-grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • Ma's Red Sauce
  • 1 small can of Sliced Black Olives
  • Sliced Pepperoni

Step 1: Take 1 English muffin and open it gently into 2 halves. Toast your muffin in a toaster oven or regular toaster until it’s crispy. Be careful, it is hot!

Step 2: After muffin is crisp, use a spoon and spread a thin layer of Ma’s Red Sauce on the English muffin. Sprinkle a small handful of Mozzarella Cheese on your toasted English muffin. You can add two Sliced Black Olives as eyes and break your Pepperoni into little pieces to make a mouth.

Step 3: Put in the toaster oven or under the broiler until the cheese is melted. Have a grown-up help you take it out of the oven or broiler when the cheese is melted.

This is a great after school snack!

Cheesy Tomato Soup

  • 1 jar Ma's Red Sauce
  • 3 cups Chicken Broth
  • 3 cups of pre-grated Cheddar Cheese
  • Cheddar Goldfish© Crackers

Step 1: Pour 1 jar of Ma’s Red Sauce, 3 cups of pre-grated Cheddar Cheese and 3 cups of Chicken Broth into a medium saucepan. Stir with a spoon.

Step 2: Ask a grown-up to turn on the stove and heat your soup on low until cheese is melted.

Step 3: Have a grown-up pour the heated soup into bowls. Add Cheddar Goldfish Crackers to the top and serve.

This is great for lunch with a Grilled Cheese Sandwich!

Sleep-Over Lasagna

  • 1 package of No-boil Lasagna Noodles
  • 3 cups of Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup of Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1/2lb of Ground Beef
  • 1 jar of Ma's Red Sauce

Have a grown up pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees

Step 1: Crack 1 Egg into a medium bowl and stir until Egg is mixed.

Step 2: Add 3 cups of pre-grated Mozzarella Cheese and 1 cup of Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese to your bowl with Egg. Sprinkle on a small amount of Salt and Pepper.

Step 3: Mix the Egg and Cheeses with a large spoon until everything is mixed together.

Step 4: Take a square glass baking dish (9" x 9") and spoon in a thin layer of Ma’s Red Sauce, covering the whole dish.

Step 5: Place a layer of Lasagna noodles on top of the sauce. Spread the Egg and Cheese mixture on top of the hard Lasagna noodles and spoon sauce on top of the Cheese mixture.

Step 6: Repeat Step 5 two more times and then top with Lasagna noodles. Cover top layer of noodles with plenty of sauce and Mozzarella Cheese.

Step 7: Cover baking dish with aluminum foil and have a grown-up put it in the oven.

Step 8: Bake Lasagna for 35 minutes. Have a grown-up take it out of the oven and remove the aluminum foil. Place baking dish back in the oven and bake for 10 more minutes.

Step 9: Have a grown-up take it out of the oven and let it sit for 10 minutes. Now a have a grown-up cut the Lasagna into serving-sized pieces and place them on individual plates.
