Washburn has recently been recognized in several ways for their sustained success: selected as part of The Minnesota 150, awarded the 2008 Nonprofit Excellence Award, and invited to present nationally on their intensive early- treatment model. United Cerebral Palsy
United Cerebral Palsy of Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties (UCP) follows the principle of ‘life without limits for people with disabilities’. For over 64 years, this principle has been guided through all facets of the organization. From the group homes to the RESPITALITY program, the UCP family is an established leader when it comes to creating opportunities and providing care for people with disabilities both locally and globally.
UCP provides services in five counties to over 1,100 children and adults with developmental disabilities daily. The UCP organization is made up of group homes, independent living apartments, adult day programs, community living services and a program for children with special needs which are all managed by a loving and dedicated staff of over 650 people.

The Ronald McDonald House at Stanford
Ronald McDonald House at Stanford creates a home-away-from-home and supportive community for families of children with life-threatening illnesses receiving specialized treatment at local hospitals. For these families, the House offers much more than a room with a shower and a bed; it is the place "where hope has a home." Through the programs provided, a nurturing environment is fostered in which the family as a whole is the main focus. And since the House opened in 1979, the donation requested from the families has remained at a modest $10 per night with no family ever turned away due to inability to pay--relieving yet another burden off these families in crisis. Bobby D's is proud to support Ronald McDonald House at Stanford with the Affiliate Charity Program and "Families Helping Families."
